Everyone always says that being a mom would actually mean something when you give birth. But I totally disagree. I was a mom long before I gave birth and that's because I had my nephew. When I did give birth to my own, it was different but also like an extension of a world that had already opened up to me. I will still love my nephews, nieces, my best friend's kids just as much as my own. I will celebrate their wins, I will cry with them, and I will spoil them with loud and huge presents because I am their aunt, and that's also a mom in a different language.
